Five months after the shocking 0-3 win of Basel in Frankfurt the two teams are competing for the second leg. Basel is the big favorite for next round but Eintracht is looking for “revenge” and a miracle.
Our Europa League round of 16 predictions: Eintracht Frankfurt will probably not reach the quarter-finals of the competition. Nevertheless, we think that the club from Hesse will not give away the second leg. In an interview before the game, Eintracht coach Adi Hütter was at least not hopeless. Eintracht Frankfurt has better quality and have lost none of the last 4 away games in Bundesliga. FC Basel was not as strong last season as in the past. And they didn’t win the last 3 competitive games. That is why we prefer a double chance bet in favor of the guests. Alternatively, we choose a tip on over 2.5 goals . Eintracht Frankfurt has to act offensively and score at least 4 goals to get ahead. In 26 of 34 Bundesliga games, more than 2 goals were scored.
